Behind FROM:CELLA's Myeongdong Listing, a Pharmacy Chain's Rapid Sprint
FROM:CELLA's addition to a fourth Optima Wellness Museum store is a minor brand footnote; the notable number is how fast the host chain itself has grown, from one Gangnam pharmacy in September 2025 to at least nine locations across Korea within eleven months.

FROM:CELLA's arrival at Optima Wellness Museum's (OWM) Myeongdong location is its fourth store placement since the cell-science skincare brand's domestic launch on June 25, 2026, following stops at OWM's Sinsa, Itaewon and Busan Nampo outlets. The pace says less about the brand's retail traction than about how fast the host chain itself is scaling.
A pharmacy chain scaling fast
OWM opened its first store in Gangnam in late September 2025: a roughly 460-square-meter space where a licensed pharmacist handles prescriptions alongside curated health and beauty retail, plus consultation and measurement zones. Eleven months later, OWM's own site lists at least eight locations across Seoul and Busan, including Jonggak, Bundang Seohyeon, Itaewon, Seongsu, Bukchon, Sinsa and Nampo; Myeongdong makes nine. The format is run by Lifestyle Project Co. under chief executive Kim Jin-ho, built on a pharmaceutical distribution business the company traces to 1982. Kim has called OWM "a starting point for a new wellness journey where customers can explore health, beyond just a pharmacy," and said the company would expand "wherever it is needed," not by fixed region.
A men's-grooming house behind the label
FROM:CELLA is made by ChromaX, the cosmetics company better known for DASHU, a men's grooming line that has topped Korea's Consumer Satisfaction Index for hair styling products eleven years running and won Olive Young's men's care award in 2023 and 2025. FROM:CELLA is ChromaX's newer, cell-science-positioned push into general skincare. Landing in four OWM stores within about seven weeks of launch reads less like organic retail demand and more like an existing distribution relationship moving quickly.
